We invite you to make a 2017 Oscar Nominees tour through the alternative and fan posters released around web.

The ceremony will have as host to comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who will have the mission to be the main presenter for first time. In the past, he has been the host at Emmy Awards in its editions 2012 and 2016.

The third feature film by Damien Chazelle, La La Land, will start as the favorite at 89th Academy Awards after getting 14 nominations, a number gotten only for “All About Eve” (1950) and “Titanic” (1997). La La Land is the first musical movie to get 14 Oscar Award nominations.

On category Best Film of the year we have 9 movies. This year has been included different genres, not only drama (something common). We have a war film (Hacksaw Ridge), a western (Hell or High Water) and even a science fiction one, Arrival, the first movie in that genre for Canadian director Denis Villeneuve, and one of the most nominated films with 8 nominations. Of course, dramas, biopics and stories based on “real lives” have guaranteed their seats every year.

About stories based on real lives, there are three productions which audience uses to connect easily: Hidden Figures, the story of a group of black women who made a decisive job to send the first US man to outer space; Hacksaw Ridge, about a man who made to impose his religious convictions during his service at Second World War; and Lion, the story of a young man who after 25 year decided to meet with his family again. Lion received two awards for Best Supporting actor (Dev Patel) and best adapted screenplay at BAFTA Awards last weekend.

Manchester by the sea, Moonlight and Fences are the other well-known movies during this Award Season with some great nominations.

It is just missing 10 days to know the winners. Ceremony will be held next Sunday, February 26th.
